Established in 1996, DLF Public School was shaped by Darbari Lal Foundation, a trust set up in the memory of notable educationist and visionary Shri Darbari Lal ji. The school endeavours to provide liberal education to its students and this stems from the vision of Dr. Rakesh Khullar, chairman of the school.
The school offers customary templatised courses in science, commerce and humanities streams. Innovative ideas like flipped classrooms approach allowing an access to virtual world, peer learning programmes, experimental learning through games like Grammar Throw ball, THOTS labs for cultivating thinking and life skills, huge impetus to group work and collaborative learning, PEC (Physical Education Cards) and so on find place on an itinerary that’s geared at structuring six essential skills of 21st century learning: communication, creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, character and citizenship.
