Gulf Diagnostic Center (GDC) Hospital provides affordable specialised care for patients, training for doctors & other healthcare professionals, and conducts research to bring better care to its patients. Its offering includes the full range of medical and surgical services to meet the needs of their diverse patient base. Patients receive cutting-edge diagnostic and treatment options without leaving the community setting of GDC Hospital in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. GDC Hospital was inaugurated in 1996 by Dr Awad Kaddoura. It has grown from a diagnostic centre into a full-fledged hospital, offering a full range of healthcare services including operating theatres and in-patient facilities. The imaging and laboratory services in the hospital use leading technology to deliver outstanding medical care. They provide specialised expertise services in medical, cosmetic, dental, medical imaging and rheumatology among others. The highly skilled team of physicians can offer a full range of medical expertise from an initial appointment with a GP or dedicated specialist to surgery. GDC won the Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) in 2009 for the quality services and was re-accredited again in December 2012. In addition to this, it has also won the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award (SKEA) in 2011.
