Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), established in 1938, is a pioneer in the field of arts education in Singapore. NAFA has transformed itself from a fine arts school with merely 14 students to a comprehensive arts education institution today. The academy today offers diploma, degree and part-time courses in fashion studies, arts management, design and media, music, theatre, dance and 3D design for adults and children.

The institute
receives polytechnic-level funding from the ministry of education, Singapore. It has the status of the first comprehensive art education institute to receive the Edu Trust certification from the council of private education. The academy offers courses in partnership with the most renowned universities from Singapore and the United Kingdom.
A team of international faculties imparts quality education in the students. Moreover, to enable the students to acquire a repertoire of complex skills and knowledge in a pool of arts, the academy brings in leading players in the market of creatives from time to time for interactive sessions.
The academy has a wide range of equipments like 3D printer, laser cutting machine, professional studio lighting system, digital plotter, welt pocket machine, plasma machine, etc. The academy also conducts workshops on modelling, jewellery design, sculpture and rapid prototyping.
