NATURALLY FRESH

In 2006, Vietnam’s leading dairy company Vinamilk re-launched one of its major fruit and soybean milk brand ‘Vfresh’. Earlier known as ‘Fresh’, the name was officially changed to reflect the improved form and quality of the product.

Two years after the change in its name, Vfresh’s new logo was introduced with the message ‘Source of life from the mother earth’.

Vfresh has launched a wide variety of juices and fruit drinks to cater to an expanding customer base. Apart from the regular orange juice (100 per cent), orange juice necta (with the goodness of 40 per cent orange juice), apple juice, sweetened peach juice and tomato juice, it has introduced some new flavours like Necta Training for an international market.

Vinamilk, the parent company that holds the brand VFresh is one of the largest dairy companies in Vietnam. In 2010, Vinamilk became the first company in Vietnam to be included in the Forbes Asia’s 200 best ‘Under a Billion’ list. Later in 2012, Mai Kieu Lien, chairperson and director general of Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock company (Vinamilk) was named among the top 50 most powerful businesswomen in Asia by Forbes magazine.

It is a state-owned southern coffee-dairy company established in 1976 to take over the operations of three privately held dairy factories in south Vietnam. The principal activities of Vinamilk include producing and distributing condensed milk, powdered milk, fresh milk, soya milk, yogurts, ice-cream, cheese and other products derived from milk, apart from fruit juices and coffee. Vinamilk’s products are also exported to the Middle East, Cambodia, the Philippines and Australia.

The product was launched keeping in mind the customers who are lactic intolerant. It is a healthy alternative for cow milk. Right from its inception, Vfresh has been committed towards bringing fresh, luscious and direct-from-nature juice. Vfresh doesn’t use preservatives and helps in protecting and improving the health of all its consumers.
