XIMB claims an esteemed position in the pantheon of Indian business schools and has a proven track record in churning out efficient managers and future business leaders.
Subsequently, XUB came into existence on July 6, 2013, as a university, with XIMB as a part of it. Apart from the old campus in Bhubaneswar, the university has started another in Puri district.
The varsity lays
great emphasis on qualities like leadership, communication and other soft skills. Over 68 full-time faculty members and a vast panel of adjunct and visiting teachers guide the students through the courses. To apprise the students of the latest management techniques and trends, various talks, seminars and workshops are organised.
The Bhubaneswar campus is spread over an area of 20 acres. The campus has the Tata Centenary Learning Centre, a library, a computer centre, a classroom complex, an auditorium complex, a management development centre, studio apartments and separate boys’ and girls’ hostels for the students. Floodlit basketball courts, two tennis courts, indoor badminton court, gymnasium and playgrounds for cricket and football are there.
