BLAZE TO BRILLIANCE

FACTOIDS

  • CEB is the largest carrier in the Philippine air transportation industry
  • In 2014, CEB was named by Centre for Aviation or CAPA, a leading aviation think tank, as Low-Cost Carrier of The Year in the Asia-Pacific region
  • CEB is the only carrier to offer on-board ‘fun games’ services

Philippine low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific Air is the largest carrier in the Philippine air transportation industry. CEB entered the aviation industry in March, 1996, pioneering the ‘low fare, great value’ strategy and, has since then, flown over 80 million passengers. It began long-haul services in the 3rd quarter of 2013.
FAITH FACTOR
Offering low-cost services to more destinations and routes with higher flight frequency within the Philippines than any other airline, CEB currently operates a 52-strong fleet of 44 Airbus and 8 ATR 72-500 aircraft. It has one of the most modern aircraft fleets in the world.
ENGAGEMENT THAT ENTHRALS
In 2014, CEB entered into an alliance with Tiger Air, Singapore’s largest lowcost carrier, thus allowing both airlines to leverage each other’s extensive route networks, flight frequencies and customer services. The alliance will provide customers an even wider range of travel options at the lowest fares possible. CEB is also looking forward to its foray into Indian skies by 2015.
Between 2015 and 2021, Cebu Pacific envisions acquiring 40 more Airbus. As of now, CEB also operates flights to 28 cities in 17 countries across North Asia, ASEAN, Australia and West Asia.
INNOVEDGE
CEB recently rolled out its mobile check-in option. With check-in counter space limitations at airports, CEB’s innovation will encourage people to check in online, therefore avoiding long queues. CEB is the only carrier that offers the fun-oncloud option with its on-board ‘fun games’ services.
BRAND PROMISE
In 18 years of its operations, the Philippine carrier grew its network to approximately 90 domestic and international routes, providing convenient flight connections and introducing affordable air travel. In 2014, CEB was named by Centre for Aviation or CAPA, a leading aviation think tank, as Low- Cost Carrier of The Year in the Asia-Pacific region.
