Sapphire International School, Ranchi is the first premier residential-cum-day-boarding school in the Indian state of Jharkhand. With a campus that spreads across 48 acres, it is the first school in the state to be affiliated to the University of Cambridge International Examinations, UK. The school began functioning in the year 2007.

The school, founded and promoted by Mr. Rohit Sahu, is one of the most successful schools in the country offering world class infrastructure and curriculum. It is the only school in Jharkhand to follow dual curriculum – CBSE and Cambridge International Examinations (CIE).

The academic year starts from March. The admission to the school is based on a written test, a brief project or activity and an interview in presence of the parents. The process is different from other schools. It helps to identify the areas where a child is lacking.

Sapphire International School has well-equipped classrooms with Internet access for each and every student. The school lays more emphasis on practical side of learning.

For this, it has laboratories for different faculties – Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths and Information Technology & Audio-Visual studies. Students are trained in foreign languages of their choice in the language lab. The library is well-stocked catering to the needs of students and faculty.

Balanced academic development must involve sports. Sapphire International School has two indoor heated swimming pools, archery and air-rifle shooting ranges, eight-track athletic fields and courts for badminton, basketball, volleyball, tennis and squash.

Club activities aimed at harnessing a child’s potential are held every Friday. The different clubs are- the Shakespeare Club, Quiz Club, Art Club, Music Club, Fitness Club etc.
