ymbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM) has been nurturing talent, teamwork and learning since its inception in 1978. Considered a pioneer in education in the beautiful eastern city of Pune, this institute has trained generations of corporate leaders.

It has received innumerable accolades for providing globally recognised education to its pupils. Symbiosis has been consistently ranked amongst the top few business schools in India for decades.

SIBM offers MBA, EMBA and Diploma programmes to eligible candidates who have to undergo its national level test, SNAP. The final selection is based on several rounds of group discussions and individual interviews. Last year more than 38,000 candidates applied to seek admission. The count keeps on increasing each year.

SIBM was the first institution to conduct summer trainings in India and the first in the country to have a fully Wi-Fi enabled campus. Its various student initiatives have become an integral part of the teaching methodology and helped the newer generations to reap its benefits.

It is one of the few institutions to receive affiliation from Pune University. Today, this esteemed establishment is a part of the Symbiosis International University which is recognised by the Government of India and is located in a new world-class campus at Lavale, Pune.

This institute has every facility to keep a scholar physically and mentally fit to take on the challenges of a competitive corporate world. There is a fully equipped computer laboratory, intranet resources, classrooms with audiovisual facilities, hostels, gymnasiums, yoga centre, aerobics facility and healthcare centre consisting of specialist doctors where all the staff and students have to undergo an annual health checkup.

Students are encouraged to take responsibilities, create teams and fulfil their goals. These teams, in consultation with the faculty members, take care of placements, seminars, sports, research, consulting, co-curricular activities, corporate interactions and internships.
