M umbai Pride (Smart City) is a sustainable re-development module providing housing assistance for 15,514 LIG and MIG families residing in 25, 30 and 40 sq. mtr houses in Kandivali (W), Mumbai. This smart city project is bound to be a milestone because of its luxury elements, spacious living, employment for existing families and revenue generation plans seeded in the project.
The residents of Mumbai Pride lies in close proximity of the Western Express Highway. Not just roads, presence of a metro station nearby adds to the accessability factor.
This smart city project will be planting 2097 different trees which will add that necessary splash of green. Affordable price with zero per cent maintenance are some of the reasons the project has been grabbing eyeballs. Certain adaptations like constructing wide roads to reduce traffic within the premises, having a designated green zone and access to improved water makes the project ecofriendly. Solar energy of 27 MW is produced using dead wall beams.
