What makes a reliable and trustworthy business leader?
Trusting the abilities of every Individual in the team and of the team as a whole is key. Moreover, there needs to be concerted effort towards enchanced capacity building to achieve better. Standing by the team enchances trustworthiness of the leader.
How have you re strategised and adopted to the digital transformations globally?
Digital transformation is a boon to any organization particularly the larger ones with large manpower. It allows faster assessments, helping to take decisions quicker. Hence, we too have adopted digital transformation in the interest of the Company.
What are the clear changes that you have made to your journey in the last decade?
As the journey went on, I realized that I needed to expand my horizon additionally from law enforcement and investigation towards financial management, financial fraud investigations and even to the core business domain. This has helped me grow further both as an individual and as a professional.
What is the current vision and mission at your current role?
Vision : In the current role, my vision is to make MSIL reach its peak business potential and become a strong asset to the Karnataka State Government.
Mission: (a) My mission is to create employment opportunities for 10,000 persons
(directly or indirectly) during the course of next 5 years from the current
employment to 5000 persons.
(b) Developing new businesses based on opportunities and new govt.
policies to offer our large consumer base the best quality and
timely delivery of services at the most affordable price.
How do you draw a balance between target orientation and empathetic and compassionate leadership?
Target orientation is extremely important to keep moving in the right direction which ensures a common focus for the team as a whole ensuring unified action to achieve the goal. However, the empathy and compassion is an integral part of this achievement which goes side by side with the organization goal / achievement.
What has been your greatest strength and weakness in context of leadership?
Strength: Team Building has been my greatest strength along with focus on the
organisational discipline.
