What are the breakthrough ideas that you suggest to India in your industry?
Modern Fashion Retail’s next wave is going to ride on the concept of IoT. Technology needs to be used extensively to drive sales. With the connected stores, customer experience can be enhanced multi-folds. Example, the product can be taken near an NFC device that can in turn activate its attributes/ promos/ reviews etc. on a large TV screen thereby helping the consumer to a perfect decision.
What innovations are you getting in your industry for a better Indian economy?

Sustainability and the consumer – Sustainability is set to gain momentum. Our research team found that 33% of consumers already actively seek out and purchase from brands that they know to be social and environmental friendly. Meanwhile, its becoming clear that the very technology that has allowed to venture into harsh and extreme environments is itself a threat to the ecosystem. So, its very much needed to focus on sustainability as the new consumer is mostly millennial raised alphas to pro active gen-x boomers, 2018 is the year where consumer expectations will demand more brand responsibility as they are inclined towards sustainable garments that are ethically sourced and are good for the environment
Communication & Delegation is one of my greatest strengths. I facilitate open communication with my management, team members and bring out the best in them and also my belief is that leadership has to be ‘exemplary’. Hand-holding and nurturing of team at all levels is most necessary to ensure that the culture code penetrates deep within the last levels too
Breakthrough ideas from you.
We are leveraging on technology as much as possible to ensure digitization at most operational levels, for agile reviews and quick decision-making. From a pure manufacturer to a marketing company and now trying to be a solution provider to the consumer like personalized shopping and providing sustainable eco-friendly garments etc. is what we are working towards.
