Dankotuwa has won the Silver Award Industry Sector – Extra Large Category at NCE Export Awards 2006, organized by National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka.
Dankotuwa products are exported all over the world, mostly to Europe and USA. 85% of products are exported.
Dankotuwa is not a mass scale producer but produces specialty products for niche markets.
Today it is a Public Company listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange and has about to 3,000 shareholders.
Dankotuwa Porcelain which was a pioneer in implementing the Japanese style small group activity “Quality Circles” held its convention on Saturday, 25 February 2012 at the factory premises.
