ƒ Dankotuwa has won the Silver Award Industry Sector – Extra Large Category at NCE Export Awards 2006, organized by National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka.
ƒ Dankotuwa products are exported all over the world, mostly to Europe and USA. 85% of products are exported.
ƒ Dankotuwa is not a mass scale producer but produces specialty products for niche markets.
ƒ Today it is a Public Company listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange and has about to 3,000 shareholders.
ƒ Dankotuwa Porcelain which was a pioneer in implementing the Japanese style small group activity “Quality Circles” held its convention on Saturday, 25 February 2012 at the factory premises.
