ƒ Dusit Thani was incorporated in the year 1949 by Honorary Chairperson Thanpuying Chanut Piyaoui, whose first hotel was the Princess on Bangkok’s New Road, Dusit International.
ƒ Dusit Thani Bangkok, became the company’s flagship hotel opened in 1970 and from the beginning has set new standards for hospitality.
ƒ 1987, Dusit recognised tourist trends towards resort style accommodations and acquired a hotel which was renovated to become the first resort property.
ƒ Awarded Silver Certification by EarthCheck in the year 2010 and 2011.
