Eicher Motors Ltd was the first Indian company to manufacture a tractor. It was in 1959 at Faridabad. The Goodearth company was established in the year 1948 to sell and service imported tractors. M.M. Lal, in collaboration with Gebr Eicher of West Germany, was the first one to manufacture tractors in India. It was in the 1980s that the company’s name was changed to Eicher Goodearth Company and today, the company has transformed into a complete commercial vehicle (CV) manufacturer with a wide product range.

The company is well on its way to achieve its vision to be recognised as an industry leader driving modernisation in commercial transportation in India and other developing markets. Since its inception, the company’s efforts have been towards providing value to its customers the result of which is reflected through the growing sales numbers.

Eicher Agro engines stand for low fuel consumption, reliability and value for money. These are used in multiple agricultural processes as a harvester, thresher, cold-storage, line shaft etc. These are available in the variants of 42 HP, 68 HP, 92 HP, 102 HP and 13 HP.
