Founded in 1976, Etisalat (Trade Name for Emirates Telecommunications Network), is a UAE-based telecommunications service provider. It is headquartered in Abu Dhabi , UAE. Etisalat’s mission is to provide a best-in-class total customer experience domestically and internationally. It currently operates in 15 countries. Etisalat has expanded its horizon to non-telecom business units. Some of them are consultancy services (Etisalat Academy), SIM/smart card manufacturing and payment solutions (Ebtikar), call centres (The Contact Centre), cable TV (eVision), submarine cable laying services (eMarine).
