Informatics Academy, Singapore, offers diploma, advanced diploma, under-graduate and post-graduate programmes in Information Technology and business administration. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Informatics Education Limited.
Established in 1983, it is home to more than 1,500 local and international students from as many as 26 countries across the world.
The campus is located in the heart of Singapore city. Its 46,000 square feet learning facilities include spacious classrooms, well-equipped computer laboratories, study areas, digital projectors, active whiteboards and wireless Internet network throughout the campus.
The academy is internationally recognised for its programmes.
Its graduates are accepted for Credit Transfer by universities from across the globe.
To provide more academic opportunities and a wider range of courses to its students, the academy has partnered with universities and institutions in UK like the Oxford Brookes University, Uclan University of Central Lancashire, University of Portsmouth and the University of Wales. These partnerships enable students to experience a vibrant cross-cultural learning environment.
The academy organises social and recreational activities throughout the year to promote further integration within the university community.
Other enrichment activities includegrooming and etiquette workshops, learning basic web publishing, honing resume writing skills and undertaking industry trips.
The institute was awarded the four-year EduTrust certification by the Council for Private Education in the year 2010.
It was recognised by the Singapore Productivity & Standards Board in 1998.
An academic board in the Informatics Education Ltd, comprising senior academics, is dedicated to planning and improving the academic standards that govern the institute.
