ION ORCHARD

Previously known as the Orchard Turn Site or the Orchard Turn Development, ION Orchard is a shopping mall that was opened in 2009. With over 335 food and retail outlets, it has a total retail space of roughly about 0.66 million square feet. The mall at present has about 15 flagship stores of which nine are duplex and cover around 50,000 square feet of the total space. These include brands like Giorgio Armani, Prada, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Cartier and Dolce & Gabbana. A major chunk of more than 21 per cent of total area has been devoted to dining zones. A few feathers in the mall’s cap are the return of Dunkin’ Donuts to Singapore, the opening of Singapore Airlines’ city ticketing office and Crate & Barrel’s first store in Asia.
