KIS International School is an international school in Huay Kwang district of Bangkok, Thailand. KIS (Knowledge Inspiration Spirit) offers International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes right from the early years through to Grade 12.

Students learn through three IB programmes – the primary years programme for the 3- 11 years age group, the middle years programme for the 11-16 years age group and the IB diploma programme for the 16-18 years age group. The three programmes are structured so as to provide a continuum of learning. The curriculum is broad, balanced, inquiry-based and globally conscious.

At KIS, students are equipped with tools that help them develop an aptitude for mathematics, science, social science, languages, literature and the arts. Students are encouraged to pursue sports actively and are engaged in activities like theatre, music, art, journalism, cooking and debate. Local & global community service and travel programmes give students a substantial global exposure.

The school’s accreditations, authorisations and partnerships testify to the internationally benchmarked, quality education it offers. It is accredited by Council of International Schools. Its three programmes are fully authorised by the International Baccalaureate Organization. It is in partnership with Washington International School, an IB World School in Washington, DC. KIS is licensed by the Thai Ministry of Education and is an active member of the International Schools Association of Thailand. It is also a member of Thailand International Schools Activities Conference.

The school is a close-knit community of teachers, staff, administrators and parents who work together to create a warm, nurturing environment that is conducive to learning. Teachers at KIS are well-qualified with considerable professional experience. They are hired from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and other countries on a standard two-year contract. They act as facilitators and encourage students to take ownership of their education.

The school has a sprawling four-acre campus in a quiet, green, gated community close to Bangkok’s city centre. Its state-of-the-art infrastructure includes well-equipped playgrounds, sports fields, tennis courts, swimming pool, media centres, arts centre, auditorium, libraries, canteen, science labs, Information Technology labs, dance studio, gymnasium and an IB diploma study centre.
