Krupanidhi School of Business

Following the concept of 40 per cent academics and 60 per cent finishing school, Krupanidhi School of Management (KSM) is a management school founded by the trio – Suresh Nagpal (the current chairman of the institute), Geetha Nagpal and Samson Dhamnigi. Started in the year 2008, KSM offers a masters in business administration (MBA) from Bangalore University (dual specialisation), masters in business administration from Mysore University and an autonomous post graduate diploma in management, which is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) .

With a lush green 12-acre campus located in the Silicon city of India, Bangalore, KSM provides a well-equipped and sustainable environment for both working as well as learning. There is a large seminar and conference hall, a cafeteria that offers a variety of Indian food to its students and staff. It also hosts an inbuilt sports facility, a well-equipped gym, a well planned hostel and transport facilities which ply throughout the city.

Following the modern gurukul system, KSM has bagged many prestigious awards like the ‘Education Excellence Award’ for the best upcoming B-School in south India by Brands Academy. It was conferred the ‘Educational Institute with best Infrastructure Award’ and ‘Educational Institute with best Academic Industry’ by World Education Congress etc.

It was placed fifth in terms of placements in a B-School college survey by Silicon India. KSM was awarded the membership of the European Council for Business Education in May 2013.

With a mission to ‘nurture and craft the best managerial talents in the country’, KSM, through its training and placement cell, holds training and orientation programmes to hone the skills of their students. These programmes help the students by counselling young minds and helping them decide what to do in life, eventually preparing them for campus interviews.

In the name of Krupanidhi Finishing School, which is run within the campus, the institute has full-time qualified and experienced trainers who help students develop various necessary skills. Some of those skills are aptitude (quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, English language competence and data interpretation), soft skills, group discussion, seminars, debates, business simulation games, communication skills and presentation skills.

Its curriculum emphasises heavily on conducting regular seminars on topics like ‘personality development’ and ‘higher education prospects’ etc. In addition to this, it also organises industry-institute interaction programmes to bridge the gap between company experience and academic learning.

In order to get exposure, students are often sent to different job fairs organised by other agencies.

Understanding the importance of internship in a student’s life, KSM tries to provide such opportunities and also helps them to connect with the same companies for final placements. Foreign internship projects are also arranged to enhance the productivity of students.

Apart from this, students can also enrol for courses like aptitude assessment and resume building by Edu-Next.
