Management Development Institute (MDI) is one of the few Indian B-Schools to be accredited by Association of MBAs (AMBA), London. About 80 full-time faculty members, all nationally and internationally acclaimed academicians, teach various courses at the institute. Offering a one-of-its-kind opportunity to every two out of three of its students to spend a term abroad under an international student exchange programme, MDI helps them develop an international perspective of growth and management. MDI has played host to a number of conferences where scholars from diverse fields of expertise have shared their perspective on recent developments. In 2012, it hosted four major conferences, namely the International Conference on Information Systems, Technology and Management; the International Conference on Sustainable Infrastructure in Emerging Markets; the International Conference on Digital Libraries and Knowledge Organisation; and the International Conference on Financial Innovations and Change for Survival and Growth.
