The USP of the company is its business model (BOOT / Opex / RESCO model) – delivering immediate, risk-free savings with no investment from the customer or any hassle of operations or maintenance, combined with full attention to their needs. The company strives to create value for its customers through efficiencies in development, financing, construction and operation of distributed solar energy projects across the country.

A._the first _critical factor in establishing the brand Amplus it the credibility factor – The client base of the company is all the A+ rated clients who have already maintained their worth in the global business scenario. And Amplus collaborates with clients who have that much of credit worthiness and the potential to sustain for that long in the market. _B. the next factor is the that Amplus has that financial strength and we continue to build that in the coming years. C. the next factor is the advance technology and the adaptability to the market scenario. D. the corporate social responsibility initiatives that Amplus has taken up in the past years and in the future also. Amplus Solar in association with The Indian Army, has celebrated Diwali by donating 50 Solar Lamps to the people of Gurez valley. Amplus has gifted Rooftop Solar Power Plant of 4.7 kw to United Orphanage, Coimbatore. Amplus has collaborated with Tagore International School to set up a rooftop solar power plant under the “Project Sehpathi” which focusses on providing better facilities to the students. The last factor is the innovative approach and the pro-activeness towards the projects and the clients is incredible. Amplus caters to the needs of the clients and designs a PPA customized to their needs.
What are future plans of the brand? How have these been formulated keeping points of parity and disparity with similar enterprises as reference?
We expect to grow in the distributed energy segment in India with new products including energy efficiency, data analytics, concentrated solar thermal and of course expanding in our core areas of open access and rooftop solar.
What are the core values that drive the brand?
The higher management look after the overall functioning of the business with special focus to maintaining investor relations, strategizing, new business generation and raising finance. I believe in empowering my team and steering them to contribute to the growth of the organization by making them a part of the decision-making process. We follow open door policy and have a transparent working environment and wherein the management team literally works from the same workstation area as the rest of the team. This helps promote an environment of collaboration, interaction, high performance and mutual respect between management and employees. Several initiatives have been taken up in the past few months by the for the employees like Launch of myPerks portal has further strengthened the culture of quick appreciation and rewards for the organization, rollout of Employee Referral Policy has encouraged employees to be a part of the recruitment journey for the organization, the ‘No Sir No Madam’ policy has emphasized on the flat structure at organization. Also, several engagement activities, in collaboration with the Admin team, have further increased cohesiveness amongst the teams. The future path of the department is to strengthen itself as a robust support for the employee’s life cycle at the organization.

Amplus is striving to address the unique challenges in distributed solar power and apart from distributed rooftop solar, Amplus has forayed into Battery based Energy Storage Solutions that will address the requirements of our country by providing power when we need rather than when it is generated. The opportunity for the overall business of Amplus Energy (including all its product offerings in distributed solar) is huge given the solar mission of Government of India to achieve 100 GW cumulative Solar Capacity in the energy mix of the country by 2022.
